Wild Mushroom Mezzaluna Pasta

  • panna sauce, cherry tomatoes, Pecorino

This is the third choice (not a limited/preselect option) on a DO&Co dinner flight. For those who have had the Do&Co Artichoke Ravioli from a few months ago, this is VERY similar in terms of plating and sauce. The mezzaluna past (which were actual half moon shaped) have a very mushroom forward filling, but it’s not an overly offensive faux-truffle type situation.
The dessert is advertised as pecan pie… it’s more like a chocolate pecan bar situation. Much more like a brownie than pie. Still good.

Despite the captain telling us it was going to be turbulent for the first 30 minutes (and it was! Quite windy coming out of BOS… a poor kid threw up on take off due to the dips and bumps), the FC FA, assisted by a main cabin FA, got drinks and meals served within 20 minutes of takeoff; they were up as soon as the 10000 ft bell. I was actually surprised to see them up, despite being told to remain seated by the captain over the PA prior to takeoff.

great BOS crew.
