I travel with my CPAP machine, including to many different countries and I have never once been asked about the machine. I have been to Japan with my CPAP with no issues but I suppose if you are worried, you could look up the Japanese translation for the machine and have screenshots of that saved in case you get asked by the airlines or customs as to what that thing is.
