Looking for Western Union location is easier then depositing money directly to person's account? I don't think so.
Also, Western Union is not marginally more expensive. They are much much more expensive then Wise.
They dope the prices on transfers in the last year or so, because people were simply using everybody else but Western Union.
The same amount of money to send to Asia from US was:
Wise fee = $3.00
Western Union = $25.00
Now the Western Union fee is at $4.99 for the same transaction. The price dropped only because now they have a lot of competition and Western Union cannot steal your money anymore.
