cws had ALA high on his awful list then and now. But lounges change usually for the better. TSE, now rechristened NQZ, was all but nonexistent when I first used it but then improved dramatically; okay not a BA airport but OW flights available on Avios went there. Perhaps some kind person could go through this thread and another from 12 years ago cited earlier and produce a comparison and league table?

My vote goes to Genoa as the worst lounge ever.
