2x points for cruise booking
If you book a cruise through a travel agent (instead of AmEx Travel), can you also get the extra membership rewards points (2x points), or do you only get the onboard credit and other amenity? I see that the cruise onboard credit and extra amenity are available from certain travel agents (as long as you have an American Express platinum card and use an American Express card to pay for the booking) but I wasn’t sure if the 2x points for cruise bookings are only available if you book directly through American Express travel.
