I am trying to select seats on LATAM purchased with Avios through Iberia. I can pull up the reservation through the above tricks (Air Malaysia and Royal Jordanian) but AM does not show an option for seat selection and RJ allowed me to choose one then gave me an error. Any ideas how to get a record locator for this reservation. Iberia, as you all know, has horrible customer service and I can never even get them to respond to an email; twitter; or Facebook message. I went to iberia chat thing during afternoon on my computer and worked with their dude who got me a seat assigned in biz for my dfw-mad flight. I wanted the more private window option so it was important.
now only a couple minor things, I flew prem Econ on same flight last year and no precheck and lack of workers = DFW line took one hour. I was fine - just no lounge but annoying. im hoping I'll have my boarding pass prior and just do Clear in terminal E and take quick shuttle train thing over to D. also, I booked this on BA Avios and a connecting on IB avios for my connecting flight 90 min after scheduled landing. I am not checking in bags so I think I should be fine...anyone with experience with iberia to iberia transfers ...both business class if that matters. thanks
