Which online site did you buy the ticket? As synergypi mentioned, if you purchased the ticket via e-romancecar then you should have limited express surcharge ticket with a seat assignment. Are you sure your ticket does not show the seat assignment? If you bought the ticket via e-romancecar then it is possible that you got discount fares, where the fare will be slightly lower than the fare I have mentioned. The fare I have mentioned is full walk-up fare.
