It seems that when booking through the Oneworld RTW website nowadays, Qantas is the only airline issuing tickets though there is no flight operated in the RTW trip. I've come to be informed that Qantas charges a substantial fee of 125 USD for changing each segment via their phone customer service. Therefore, if I need to modify four segments, the total fee would amount to 500 USD. This appears to be a widespread issue; several friends have mentioned being significantly charged for making changes through QF's call center. One friend was so frustrated with Qantas' customer service that they opted to cancel and rebook their entire ticket instead. Is there a more efficient method to alter bookings when the ticket is issued by Qantas?

Most of my freiends were calling QF to change dates not points or routing. They knew that changing points will be charge for 125usd while changing date should be free, but actually this also will be charged for 125usd. So they told me this terrible news.
