The primary factor was certainly not weather. Weather led to a delay. We were going to fly, then the aircraft went tech so we didn't fly. That seems straightforward to me. That said,

Lol, that is rather convenient for Canadian airlines. I've heard before that APPR is rather toothless, now I see why.

Expense claims are separate from APPR claims and customers can claim one, both, or neither. The outcome of one does not have an impact on the outcome of the other.
