According to “CPH translate”, JAL clarified during the Q&A session that the 787-9 order is for ZIP. So only the 20 A359 are for FSC
Aviationwire's tweet is reporting it a bit differently from the live Q&A. The additional 787-9 order includes that for Zipair so it is not probably all for ZG (corrected).
Also, I guess this could be the answer for requests to expand the Lie-Flat service as there is a great demand especially from the US.
Could TG eventually serve NRT - MIA /MCO as soon as these additional frames becomes available? We will find out. lol
