Nice hotel, but I have no status anymore at Hyatt, and even though I’m near the top floor and have a nice enough view… I also look down on a vast sea of rooftop HVAC equipment that is unfortunately discernible in the room.

On the extreme plus side I discovered the HVAC for the room has a “Dry” setting, which is very rare even in over the top luxury properties. I only discovered this just before checking out, so I don’t know how effective it is. But I’ll assume it is effective at humidity removal and this would be very welcome at certain damp times of the year.

All in all a very nice stay and I would stay here again, but be sure I requested a room away from the rooftop AC farm. I actually enjoyed not have a free breakfast. Most of my other hotels have included it, but at home I usually have toast and coffee or something otherwise simple. Great to just have a relaxing morning without having to cram a free breakfast in the itinerary!
