Not knowing the details yet, I wonder if currently owned miles will be allowed to be combined, or if it will only be newly earned miles, and when the program would start if the latter is the case. 4 of us (wife and 2 kids) are flying PHL-ORD-FRA-NAP in J next week. It would be nice to be able to steal - I mean use the kids miles, since they have little purpose for them.
