The First Wing fully open!
Arrived at 5:05am in The First Wing for checking-in, all the BA staff were happy to report back that the First Wing Security is now fully operational!

Travelling with a hold luggage, a backpack with a laptop and an opened 500ml bottle of water, and a small suitcase full of camera equipment and toiletries. I would normally spend 2-3 minutes to unload everything into separate trays so that nothing gets rejected.

This time I was told to just leave everything in and go, and……my backpack was sent for secondary check, but just because of the bottle of water. Everything else was fine and I was cleared rapidly to the First Lounge for my full English.

Total time from the First Wing entrance to the First Lounge: 7 minutes
