This is a weird glitch in the system that no one from United seems to be able to help with. I made a booking on United.com and I checked the box that had Dr. as a title. Normally I don't do this but after having encountered several inflight medical issues I thought maybe it would be a good idea to identify myself in case. Anyways when I booked I had put in my Asiana *Gold membership and my name showed up properly in the "your reservation is processing" email. However after completing processing email my name showed up with MD added to my last name and my Asiana club number was missing. When I checked in today, it turns out the system added the MD directly to my last name so instead of "John" it is now "Johnmd". This is causing a mismatch with Asiana so I can't use my star gold on the reservation. No one from United seems to be able to help with this since I checked in. Has anyone ever encountered this before? I have pictures showing that the MD got added after the reservation processed and my OZ FFP fell off.
