Son got a denial for APPR saying "outside airline control" but it appears to be for the first leg of his trip (delayed only about 10 minutes) as that is the leg referred to in the email (at top includes case number and the flight number for the first flight). The second TATL leg was the one delayed by over an hour that caused misconnection, additional connection, and 10-hour late arrival at ultimate destination. I am trying to figure out if they actually are referring to the first flight in their denial or that is just what shows up as the reference bc it was first. If it's a denial for the whole thing, then we are going to have to argue with them.
