There hasn't been any major breakthrough in business class design beside a few niche products (ANA and Q-Suite). I don't think we will see any major improvement for the next gen products.
The super diamond is pretty optimal when it comes to balancing density vs comfort.
AC went with the Vantage seats on their HD 77W initially, it was universally disliked and it didn't last too long until they got refitted.
I suspect the so called next gen J cabin on the 787-10 is going to be base around the same product with minor improvements.
The low hanging fruits are door and better IFE, shoulder strap instead of airbag seatbelt.
