Changes with the New JAL Life Status for Existing JGC Members
Hey folks,
I've been scratching my head over the recent updates to JAL's JGC and JMB programs. Despite reading through the emails and terms a few times, I'm left more confused than when I started. It feels like it's gotten way more complicated than other frequent flyer programs out there.
Quickly, as a long-time JGC member, it seems like not much has changed for us, except they've lowered the renewal requirement from 5,000 miles to 2,000 miles, which is nice. We also get to keep our OneWorld Sapphire status. But am I missing something important here?
And don't even get me started on the new JAL Life Status. It feels almost impossible to get a clear understanding of what it is and how it works. It's just so complicated and, honestly, exhausting trying to figure it out. So, what is the fundamental changes there? I'm still feeling confused.
Has anyone else been able to make sense of all this? I could really use some help or insight if you've got any. Thanks a bunch in advance!
