Thank you! I've been following that thread. We're looking to try the PP lounges but we would not want extra questions for not leaving the airside area as soon as landing. I'm travelling with my mom who's not that proficient with English so would like to make sure.
You'll be fine. SIN is one airport that actively encourages travellers to spend time in the terminals. Most travellers use the automated clearance lanes anyway. They'll only care if you try to do an in-and-out (i.e. go from landside to airside and back out without flying).
