When the gift card value is lower than the folio amount, can the system allow multiple gift cards being used, specifically the folio currency is a foreign currency like Euro or GBP?

I know in US those properties know how to process GCs, easily process multiple GCs to pay the bill - probably because they can enter the full balance of the GC which is if the same USD denomination. But what happens when the bill is in Euro? How the FD enters a partial payment that matches the remaining balance on the GC?
