Currently sitting at the gate (for the second time) for our (now) 1230 departure for our five day 320 TP BA Holiday to Iceland (KEF). Original flight was 0740 and departed on time and we had breakfast and a glass of champagne. It was at that point I noticed the sun on my left (I was in 3A) so unless it had risen from the West that day, something was clearly afoot.

Turns out that it was a cracked windscreen/seal so we had to turn back to LHR. Change of plane was required and so back to the lounge for a rescheduled 1230 departure. However gate is closed and BA app shows 1400 now.

Flight crew and cabin crew were fantastic with providing numerous updates - ground crew at the gate - not so much! No announcements or anything.

However been fed and watered so not really complaining although I’m now wondering whether it will actually go at all.
