I have a weeklong solo, leisure trip to Tokyo (first time ever) from the US coming up. I have about 150k Hyatt points I was planning on using, and no globalist. I really wanted to book a room at Andaz, but as of now, all of October (when I’ll be there) is blocked off. Since PH is closed and SLH are no more, I’m not getting my hopes up that I’ll be able to string together any award dates. I had narrowed it down to Centric and GHT, but then discovered the Toranomon Hills, which I can’t find much about since it is so new.

-I really don’t care about having space since it’s just me.
-I love the aesthetic.
-I love the opportunity for a good tower view- I would rather be in a small room with a view than a large room without one.
-I’m so-so about amenities/services such as spa and room service. Both seem nice, though I don’t know how much I’d use them. I like the idea of a communal/lobby bar.
-I probably won’t lounge around the room or grounds too much, but definitely need a quiet sanctuary in the evening.
-I plan on exploring a different area each day, so location isn’t super important, but I would prefer a hotel to be near a major train station. I would also prefer the location to be at least semi-interesting to walk around if I want to do that in the morning or evening.
-if this helps, I’m 38 and married with young kids (though just me on this trip). I don’t go clubbing anymore, but do love a good whiskey bar to end the day, for example.

If anyone who has stayed here can say whether or not it would be a good fit for me compared to the GHT or Centric, it would be greatly appreciated. I’m trying to decide by next week in case I have to book the GHT before the devaluation.

ETA: With the GHT or Centric I’d look to use close to all of my points and pay 2 nights cash. Here, I’d likely take advantage of the 4th night free with 2-3 nights using points.
