What does Delta used to decide whether or not to allow for pre-selection of FC meal choices? The DL site gives little regrading pre-selection. I've gotten the email on longer flights typically 3 to 5 days prior to departure, and only if it is more than 24 hours or more prior to flight time. My challenge and question is what do they use to determine this? Recently flew PHX-ATL (1583 miles) and was able to pre-select an FC meal. Booked on JFK-PUJ this week (1558 miles) and thus far no email or selection in the app. I know we will get choices on the flight, but why aren't they offering pre-selection on this flight? Just wondering if this is something "we" asked for?
