Our only reason to be there was for the game drives, so we wanted that maximized. The least we did in a day was probalby 6-7 hours (split in two). We did mulitple full day, 6 AM to 7PM straight through. It was exhausting for sure, but it was totally amazing. For us, we would not have wanted to do any less on game drives, but by the end of 5 nights we were pretty wiped out.
Our driver, Jacob, was incredible. He was so good at getting us in the prime viewing spot for EVERTHING, Leapord, Lions and cubs (being carried in Mama's mouth), Rhino .... One day we probably saw 30-40 lions. It was amazing.
I don't think that is true regarding the park fee. They asked us today if we wanted to pay multiple days, and what I took from the conversation was that if we skipped drives for a full day there wouldn't be a fee. I'll report back. We only paid for arrival day (today) so far. We saw the black rhino, which apparently was missed by a number of recent guests.
