Hi,
I have Mileage Plus account with United and want to cancel United Explorer card since I've got Chase Sapphire preferred card.

With that said, will I lose my united mile if I cancel United Explorer card? I was told that United mile won't be expired as long as my Mileage Plus account is active but I am bit concerned if I cancel United explore credit card, United will come up with some reasons for closing my Mileage Plus account. Does anyone have experience with this?
