We were there in Feb, so I'm not sure how July/August weather compares, but for us, mornings were cool but comforatble. Cold in the open air moving vehicle, but they have blankets. Dress in layers. Afternons ranged from comfortable to quite hot. Not having AC was not really a problem, but it was pretty hot some afternoons. Of our 5 days, we only had 2 that we were in the camp for any length of time during the day. All the others we were out on drives most of the day.
