The Seattle Marriott Waterfront is a fine hotel - personally, I find it a bit too downhill (literally) for my taste. That being said, for American standards, this hotel works, but it’s not amazing. Here are my impressions:
  • Upgrade was just to Partial Water View - I think corners and water views were available - still no movement when I asked at check-in
  • View towards mountains was nice but also was quite close to some office buildings and active train tracks
  • Bed was comfortable, but covers need to be much thicker - plush mattress, plush pillows
  • Shower pressure was fine - too much “air” so not super strong
  • Offered late checkout - no issue with 4 PM
  • No in-room Ambassador welcome gift, but destination fee includes a local cola and a bag of nuts and cherries
  • M Club evening offering 7 days a week - enjoyed the chips and queso
  • Weekend breakfast in restaurant is a la carte and includes most entrees - fried egg sandwich was really good - also ordered coffee - no check to sign

I would consider coming back based on price.
