So let's restructure again: LX to drop EAP and GVA flights, sack 1000 employees
According to
news reports (in German) and a
press release by Swiss, it is going to cut back yet again. Apparently flights to and from Basel and Geneva will be severely reduced and more than 1000 people laid off. Those flghts might be spun off to be operated by a low-cost carrier (maybe it will called 'Crossair'?

).
Another piece of management by patchwork (or some newly hired consultants), it seems, that will be alienating cutomers and add to the confusion about what Swiss stands for. Is there ever going to be some sort of continuous and reliable strategy to keep this airline off the ground??
