Emailing the socialmedia address above got a response that a Customer Service enquiry had been raised with the reference number and this could take up to 3 weeks to investigate.
So quite a wait and no obvious problem with a direct route return on BA metal in Club both ways and 6 nights in a hotel. Base Avios and TPs posted in the normal time.
