Had about as bad of an experience as one can here - flight got delayed, arrived around 1:30am to find out they had an 'issue with alarms on one of the floors' and our room wasn't available.
They shuttled us to the Hyatt Place and the room was comped, took around 75 minutes to sort it out. Upon getting to the HP, the front desk said this 'happens all the time' and the HR doesn't have their act together.
If it had been 3pm I'd have been fine having all of this to sort out, but at 1:30am when we explicitly booked was super frustrating. I then did a 'deeper' dive on google reviews and this is a pretty common experience. My recommendation is: just know there's a 5-10% chance if you get there late that you won't have a room and the 'front desk' will get a Lyft for you that will take 30-45 minutes to arrive and shuttle you off to a HP 20 mins away.
