A handful of years ago, there was discussion in this group about not diving too deeply here into who received/didn't receive HH points for seaplane charges. We know we aren't supposed to receive them. However, they are awarded at times as we've read from various posted experiences.
The thought with regard to limiting comments was that should an HH rep be monitoring this discussion and actually read of people receiving points, then there might be some adjustments made by HH with stricter enforcement. My guess is that there's is no way for HH to monitor content of PM's

I think you are conflating two things:
1) Whether seaplane charges made to the room earn HH points as part of the points earned for the stay
2) Whether seaplane charges made to the room and paid for with an Amex Hilton Credit Card earn 14x points
The answer to the first question is no. I did not receive HH poins for no. 1.
For no.2, these points are "bought" by Amex and paid for with interchange fees, subsidized perhaps by the annual fee as well. The hotel incurs the same interchange fee for the charge, and hilton gets the benefit of Amex purchasing the points. Plus there is no exclusion for this int he T&C for 14x point earning. So its all above board and fine.
