so there is a 20% to 25% risk you will miss the flight in FRA.

I would be looking at what my plan B options were and how expensive they are and decide if I wanted to take that risk

You may decide you are better to write off the morning lh flight and book flight and hotel to fra the day before.

Me, if its long haul to short haul with lots if other options I would probably accept the risk

Short haul to long haul on the other hand...i would be figuring out what I would do if it goes belly up and what the cost of that would be if I needed to buy that on the day. Then decide if I want to takw that risk ot not
