They struggle with staffing, budget, etc.

No doubt it can be nice once they get their act together, but would not risk anything. Hyatt has WOH-affiliated properties in RAK, but not under management or the same owner. I am not aware of any other properties under this ownership. It would be wise to have a backup reservation at another property with a short 24-hour cancellation period. MO is just next door and probably the superior property anyway. Unless you're looking for points redemption, in which case Park Hyatt will be the only real option in Marrakech.

Thanks, I emailed them expressing concern and got this response:

Greetings from Park Hyatt Marrakech,

Thank you for reaching out to Hyatt and contemplating your upcoming stay. Your loyalty to the Hyatt brand is truly appreciated.

We are pleased to reassure you that the hotel will indeed be open in May as scheduled. Your reservation remains secure, and we look forward to welcoming you.

Should you have any specific preferences or requirements, please feel free to inform us. We eagerly anticipate welcoming you for a comfortable and enjoyable stay at the Hyatt.

We remain entirely at your disposal for any further requests.

Warm Regards,

The problem is, it is a points booking. As a globalist won't get anything near that because Marriott (Titanium Elite) doesn't seem to have a good property there too.
