Not been anything but GGL / Gold in well over a decade, so not sure what's what. Didn't know that silvers get free seat selection at the time of booking - always thought it was gold only, silver at 7 days and bronze at 3 days out.
I know OWE gets the 1903 lounge in T2 when flying with Qatar, and OWS gets the Escape lounge.
It is not a BA owned lounge, Like most airports around Europe BA uses a 3rd party contract lounge
ggl, golds, silvers and ce all in together, along with passengers from other airlines. The BA access rules are the same as they are for the BA owned lounges, the only difference may be clarity around guesting someone who is not on the same flight, that may be denied. Guesting someone who is on the same flight will not be a problem.
other than the FW, I think you will find that your flying experience as a silver is not so removed from what you had as a gold
you will also notice at T-72 that the seat next to you gets blocked, just like it did as a gold
