Anyone thinking about applying for this card, be aware that this coming September, the Altitude Connect becomes a no AF/no FTF card.

And while there will be some additions, there are a whole lot of subtractions as well.

On the upside, the $95 annual fee goes away and they are adding 4 Priority Pass coupons per year.

On the downside, the $30 streaming credit goes away and the points are devalued to $.08/point for cashback, thus the the multipliers also are devalued by 20%. When redeeming for travel through the USB portal, the rate will still be at $.01/point. The SUB, previously worth $500 will now be worth $400. Also, the cell phone protection goes away.

Given that it will be a no annual fee card, I could see it being worth getting just for the Priority Pass coupons.
