downgraded from preferred seat
50k member. I had selected emergency seat during booking (which was free) on a EWR-YUL flight. part of 4-leg trip on a UA ticket.
sometime in the T-24 hours. received a notification in Air Can app that I had a new boarding pass. They had put me a few rows to the back.
The gate agent told me maybe someone had paid for that. I was really frustrated but since it was a short flight. didn't make a huge deal of it. Is that normal tho?
