Where is this warning? I don't see anything on the website for a 35 minute connection in DCA or a 37 minute connection in CLT. Even if there is a warning, AA shouldn't be selling connections that they can't reliably make. Although I will admit that selling too short of a connection, the airline being late, and then blaming the customer would be very on brand for most of the industry.
