The thing with QR dining is that you need to say out loud exactly how you want it otherwise FAs won’t proactively ask and just assume you want the “standard” flow.
Agreed - although I will say that 4 out of the last 4 QR flights I've had, the FA specifically asked me
when I would like my meal choice served.
