I had never noticed this despite using the CDP for years, but just realized that choosing leisure or business when renting using an Amex Platinum CDP (the US one if it matters) sometimes result in different rates. For example, for a week-long rental in Munich in June, choosing "renting for business" makes the rate about €50 cheaper than choosing "renting for leisure".

I know for most CDPs choosing business vs leisure matters, but as a cardholder, am I renting for leisure or for business? Or am I free to choose whichever gives me the better rate?
