I had a disaster stay in Renaissance Santiago last december, no upgrade and plenty of available room & suite, we find dirty clothes of the previous guest in the bathroom. The staff did not care to answer in the Bonvoy chat about it or for any request to pick it up.

I also find the lounge offering/ breakfast very subpar, we did not used it anymore after the first day.
It was the worst south american hotel during my trip (peru and chile).
