It can be made a little better by adding a stop in San Francisco (SFO) on the way - SAN ORD-SFO-SEA or the reverse. Technically that route can be accomplished for the same $253 as the original itinerary, but there isn't space available under the cheapest fare so the best we can do at the moment is $268 one-way.
