Hi! As someone who has overnighted in EWR C a few times in the last year, here are some helpful points:

- Security is open 24/7. After a certain time in the evening (I think it’s pretty early like 9 or 10 pm) the security checkpoints on the left side of the terminal are closed down. You’ll have to walk to the checkpoint that’s the furthest to the right. I can’t recall for sure if they will let you in, but after midnight you should definitely be able to clear security.

- The terminal is not that comfortable of a place to stay. There’s TVs everywhere that are blaring throughout the night playing Shark Tank reruns. You won’t be alone though as there are employees there throughout the night, many of them also catching up on some sleep.

- From what I’ve seen, there is exactly one bench that doesn’t have arm rests. I don’t know how to describe where it is but it’s in that loop area by C123. I’ve also pushed benches together to make an awkward makeshift bed. Again, not comfortable but easy to make do if you don’t want to pay for a hotel.

If you have any other questions about firsthand experience, let me know! There are plenty of charging areas, btw. I don’t think A is open 24/7 though.
