Stayed at Marriott Fullerton end of January 2024 to use an expiring 35K certificate that we weren't able to extend. Their lounge is open and platinum and titanium members plus one guest have access. The lounge isn't anything fancy and on the smaller side, but it's fine.
The lounge breakfast is very basic (one hot steam tray of scrambled eggs) is the hot entrée and there's the usual English muffins, bagels, toast, pastries, cut fruit bowl. Individual yogurts and single serve box cereal also available. If you want a full hot breakfast, you can use the welcome points instead and have breakfast at their downstairs restaurant. Lounge attendant was very nice, as we arrived about 15 minutes before they were scheduled to take down/clean up (I think 9 AM) and she kindly offered us a to go box to pack some extra pastries before she had to put them away.
Evening appetizers are really simple appetizers such as pasta salad in individual cups, cut fruit in individual cups, and those simple canapes with thin sliced toasted baguettes with some veggies on top. So here these are truly appetizers and not like the SE Asia hotels with their evening appetizers and drinks where the offerings are usually substantial enough to be dinner.
All day snacks/beverages available and you use your room key to unlock the lounge door. Mini fridge has sodas, waters. Packaged chips (Doritos, Ruffles, pretzels, Knott's raspberry cookies, choc chip cookies), bowl of fruit (oranges, bananas, apples) available.
Basic room, no upgrade. Room looked like it's been refurbished and was clean. A little bit of freeway noise from the 57 freeway but not too bad.
There is a parking fee ($15/day, I think) but Kevin, the employee checking us in was very nice and waived the parking fee since we were only staying a night and also for Lifetime Titanium status. This property is right next to the university and across from a shopping/restaurant plaza so charging for parking can be justified for this location, but we're glad the employee waived it. We noticed that almost all of the Marriott properties are charging parking, even those that have large lots and no other businesses that would take or use up their parking so just another revenue generator.
Anyways, we kept our expectations lower since this isn't a five star Asia hotel so this was a decent, solid stay for the Marriott Fullerton. Staff was very nice and we noticed that they did clean and sanitize (lounge floors mopped with bleach, tables/touch surfaces sanitized, etc.) too.
