That said, it is perfectly acceptable for transit pax to use the lounge and enter the country, say during a long connection- that, I’ve done at KUL as well. Guess alarms go off only when you try to go landside, shortly after having airside.
I mean trying to leave the security-cleared gate area, rather than the general transit area (which arriving passengers will have to leave thru to enter the country anyway).
