I second the suggestion of SDC and work yourself westward.

EWR Terminal B/C don't have much to offer overnight. Maybe Terminal A you can find a nice place to lie down - assuming your flight arrives on time at C, should be an easy transfer via airside bus, if you want to stay on airport property through the night.
