You've flown on the 77X??? I'm being only somewhat hyperbolic but the existing 777 fleet will be there for another decade at least and who knows what will be available at that time.
Obviously not, but just like the MAX, there is only so much you can extract from a decades old design (even if the 777 is a fantastic plane and the last true Boeing product) compared to a fresh sheet modern design. Compare the MAX to the 220 for example, not even close even though they are technically from the same era.
