As to 'cheap' upgrades if VS is offering them (and they don't always) then the price will be in the high hundreds of dollars for a Y to UC purchase
I was relying on expertflyer, but yes, I agree with your point.
If PE is not full, or assume if some people in PE will be upgraded to UC, I can ask for Y to PE upgrade tomorrow at counter.
