When miles from your card post, you will get a few different badges on the AA activity page- One should show LPs and RDMs from total spend. There will then be individual badges for bonus categories (2x gas, 2x restaurants, etc). The bonus badges will only show RDMs. Perhaps you are looking at one of the bonus badges?
Hmm....you may be right. I just noticed that this one posted as "AAdvantage card purchases miles only." In the past, it just posted as "AAdvantage card purchases" with both RDM and LP. The only spend I have on the card are from BAAH bookings, but I don't believe the MileUp card gets any bonuses on these.
