As a Lifetime Titanium, was pre-upgraded to their Maharaja Suite a day or 2 prior.
The suite (or rather room) was of decent size and didn't feel claustrophobic at all.
Bathroom was of good size and the shower could fit at least 2.
For welcome amenity, it was either 1000 points or 2 cocktails at the bar/restaurant. I opted for the 1K points. The front office did mention something like complimentary breakfast at the "lounge" but wasn't really paying attention as I had an early morning flight and preferred to have my breakfast at SQ Silverkris lounge.
Wasn't bad at all for an overnight stay and wasnt as dreadful as the reviews on TA, but i guess it really depends on what room you're getting.

Pleasantly surprised on my first stay at The Serangoon House, Tribute Portfolio. Would stay here again.
Wonder if there was a change of upgrade policy or you just got lucky - when I stayed in Jan 2023 the hotel was dead but was refused an upgrade because their "policy" was to only give suites to people who pay for a suite outright or some such nonsense.
