New drama with Axis (thankfully I wasn't affected), this time with Atlas. Apparently they suspended a huge number of Atlas cards for using their card in the "travel category". Obviously, massive overreach accusing people of using their cards for "non personal" use in the "travel category" between Nov 23 and Jan 24 and asking for proofs. This included people who have just received their card in Feb/Mar 24 and what not.
Many people sent their proofs to CS.... clueless CS came back with the response "why are you sending us these documents???"!!!! People were sending documents for "Travel" category as listed by Axis in their statements. Axis then responded... "oh not this.. we want to know about your transactions with SpiceJet & Air India and Marriott and AirBnB". These are "Flight" and "Hotel" categories... which was not communicated in the first instance. They didn't even have the courtesy to inform the customer which specific transactions are flagged - go figure it out by yourself, if you want your account unblocked.
So now everyone has to find documents from 4 months ago to prove to almighty Axis that the single flight or holiday that they booked in the whole year wasn't booked by a travel agency. Almost everyone is a suspect according to Axis - how badly they treat their customers.
