The 1K line seems to direct calls to the ivr system at random, the last time I got it I hung up, called right back and got the usual system. If you dont want to do that just say "agent" and it should send you to a person.
I tried that today with saying "agent" and it then wanted me to answer another 5 or 6 questions first to be sure I was being directed to the correct agent....
